Default Help ID'ing players on a pin

I just picked this pin up and was hoping someone might be able to tell me who the 2 players are on it.Unfortunately,it's pretty faded,so this is the best picture I could get of it.
Thanks in advance for your help !!

It is Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There have been two on worthpoint and they were both sold in lots of Roosevelt High School homecoming pins so I don’t think there is any doubt they are from that high school. Al and Sam were not identified by the sellers.

Dan,Thank you for that information,I appreciate it.
ooo-ribay,I had thought they might be coaches too. But,I was wondering if they would call coaches by their first names rather than Coach Jones or whatever the last name might be.

I just thought they were probably former players like on a Lane Tech pin that I had.
