Default Question about Babe Ruth Coin.....

Please take a look at the Babe Ruth coin below. It has a diameter of 1 1/2 inches. Can anybody tell me what it is? What year? How much it is worth? I see one on eBay listed for $100, which tells me it's probably not worth $100. A silver coin like this sold for $30 within the last 30 days.

Thanks!

Don't know much about it but since it says "first with 60 home runs" it leads me to believe it was after Maris's 61 home runs. And if that is the case I would say minimal value and not close to $100. Maybe someone else will know exactly? That's my guess but I could be wrong. I don't remember seeing one before.

I'd guess a few bucks as a memento. If it's older, say 1960s then it might been worth more. As with Leon, that's my guess.

As far as the silver version goes, isn't an ounce of silver worth about $30?

I have one just like it but I don't know where I got it. Can't imagine it's worth anything. I always considered it a promo coin.

I had a similar coin with the Babe's likeness that was a Mardi Gras float coin. Tossed out to the crowd along the parade route in New Orleans. Mine was very light weight but well made.

I could not find any mention of this coin prior to February 2009 on the net. Google'd the phrase "You Too, Are A True Champion". My guess is it is a very recent coin, maybe even the last five years. Here is another one for sale online for $7.50.
