Picked these up awile ago came across them today. Not a postcard person but liked these. Was wondering if anyone has seen these before and if they have any value?

I collect Mantle postcards (I have almost every career contemporary postcard made) and have not see that one. Given the use of the Stahl Meyers pictured, I'd venture to say this is a more modern piece and therefore of little value. I may be wrong though. If it is 50s-60s, it could have a little value depending on the source.

If you do find info, I'd be very curious to see what they are. I have been doing a regular eBay search for several months for Mantle postcards, read the Sports Collectors Digest articles, and went through HOFMemories.com (large source for these things), but do not recall ever seeing them. The backs on these look older but not so confident on the front. Either way, awesome piece.

Yeah, i looked around too. I search the author on the back of the postcard ....etc Autocolor..etc...
It does pop up old postcards from the 40's and stuff, so maybe its possible it could be some late 50-60's stuff.
At first, i was thinking reprint, maybe 5 bucks...i also looked thru stadium postcards as well....I just couldnt find ones like these.

Are the fronts textured or smooth?

The common type of postcard from the 40's into the 50's was textured. Postcard collectors refer to them as "linnens" And that's just right for the texture. The backs look right, and Curteich was a huge producer for years.

But their printing was typically much crisper.
The use of a 50's card and a 20's card - A strip card for Ruth- Makes me think they're a modern fantasy glued to an old postcard.

The front is smooth. I picked these up in the 90's from a local card shop. I never seen any like these in my search on the internet. Don't know anything about them but liked them.
