Default Jake Stahl Ink Stamp

I was just going over some old pics that I saved from EBay, I came upon this pic of what the seller at the time claimed was an ink stamp from an old candy company out of Louisiana. He said it dated to around 1910, it's approximately a bit larger than a postage stamp. Anybody ever see this item before or something that was stamped with it.

Anything on this item? I kind of wish I would of bid on it now but the starting bid at the time was $100 and I was a bit skeptical of its origin.

If my son would have seen it, it would have sold.

I remember when this was listed on EBay about a year ago, the seller had it listed horribly it was up a couple of times with no takers. I also recall it only had like two or three hits.

I also recall the seller said it was from a candy company named "Thebeau".

This was probably over a year ago that it was listed. The reason that I passed on it was the seller said he found it with some paper work from this candy company. However, I asked the seller if he could provide a scan of the paper work for documentation he gave some smart ass answer so I passed.
