Default Show us your Al Simmons cards!

Inspiration strikes, sometimes concerning undervalued players. Show us your Al Simmons cards! This 1933 Goudey of the ol' Bucketfoot was obtained at the first flare-up of my vintage collecting, and I have always admired just how cool an action batting pose it possesses.

I just sold this 1933 Eclipse Import card of Al Simmons. I assume he is the one sliding into third. They could have put any player's name on the back.

I hadn't thought so, it's from a very reliable source and I am sure measured fine or I wouldn't have kept it. But I guess it's possible.

By the way that reminds me of how so many sources list the wrong measurement for these cards, saying they are 2.5 by 3.

Doug : Great photo of Simmons in a Detroit Uniform. Anyone have a pre-war "card" of Simmons in a Tiger Uniform . Here's a 1936 Detroit Times Stamp of Simmons:
