Default My million (billion?) dollar idea

I am going to create a "virtual vault" for "virtual vintage baseball cards." We'll call them "VVBCs" for short By definition, the "vault" won't actually exist; nor will any of the cards of course. But that's the beauty of it. If you buy one of my VVBCs, I will send you a nice certificate of ownership in my "vault." If you want to sell it to someone else I will be happy to open the vault, and transfer the virtual certificate virtually to another buyer for a fee. Think of the ease of transactions here. In full disclosure, the "vault" will be a folder in my office filing cabinet. Rated for fire protection I'm pretty sure. Rest assured your VVBC and attendant virtual certificate will be fully secure.

For those of you who say this is nothing new, and I am merely combining the now accepted "vault" concept with the badly faltering NFT concept, well, you are entitled to your opinion.

Well, let's get to it. Starting with a VVBC for 1952 Mantle. Officially for sale at 10am today for $1,000,000.

And no, I don't accept bitcoin or other forms of virtual payment.

If you need help with it I can virtually insure the items/certificates and the fee would only be to cover the paper and the ink and for a little extra the printer that is used for the printing of the certificates.

I cannot insure how the items are virtually shipped to you because that business model is to complex for me

A number of folks have inquired if we will be selling virtual fractional shares to the VVBCs. Yes, there will be an entire virtual share virtual marketplace in phase 2.

Default Condition?

You forgot to include the condition of the Mantle card …. I suggest a Virtual Slabbing Service to be offered by the Vault to give buyers that comfort and security that only a slab can bring.

Steve, terrific concept and the financial impact will put Bitcoin to shame. It would be of great assistance if you could provide an inventory of the virtual cards in the virtual vault. That way investors and collectors could sell all their hard assets to prepare for virtual auctions for virtual cards. If per chance there might be virtual cards of a Texas Tommy Jax and a Derby Chocolate Cobb (unburned, please) then I'm all in.
Presume all the virtual cards in the virtual vault have been graded by a virtual TPG'er.

Default Why not?

I think I fully understand this idea and it's great. One question I have is why can't all three of you each retain 51% ownership?

Sounds good. Quick question, can I keep my 'virtual tulip bulbs' in your vault?

I've always been interested in the T206 Plank. How much would just one of his virtual eyeballs cost (including applicable taxes and fees?)

2 different business models.
Steve is offering the, "VVBC" Model.
I will negotiate with Steve, on the "Showpiece" Model; his acting as Project Manager for the 49% holdings RE: Mack (Org).

Virtual jury selection for the fraud trial would be virtually impossible.

Can a jury be hung with a virtual rope?

No mention of the security measures taken to prevent theft of the file cabinet by virtual thieves.

Finally make sure the monetary assets are kept in an offshore repository hopefully on a virtual island. It would be a shame to be underwater from the get go, unless of course your million/billion dollar cache is secured in a Ziplock baggy.

Can you set up a virtual storefront in the metaverse? I'd feel much safer buying there and interacting with fellow avatars.

Sounds like the Rally Road advertisements I cannot seem to shake from my Facebook feed. They get raked over the coals every day by sarcastic collectors (and me), but still manage to keep doggedly at it...

Sorry fellas, I just virtually bought the1952 Mantle offered with my very own virtual money. I needed it to trade for any, and all Verne Clemons cards that people will be adding to the vault. It's a great feeling being a virtual billionaire. Now let's see the Clemons cards roll my way.

Some of the VVBCs will have special virtual stickers on them making them extra special. Some will even have extra special "virtual eye appeal."

I realize that might not surprise any of you.
