I don't know about an "upgrade" but a previous owner thought enough of it to get it "Graded"

Default Authentic card

With actual price paid five dollars. Long thread about it 3-4 years ago, which I sent it out to Kevin Sacier to verify authenticity.and there were still naysayers..

Default The Mutants are Gem Mint on this Thread

The set is still intact. The price just went up for they really feel out of place on this thread.

Aaron.jpg

Hank is almost in two pieces.

Berra.jpg

Yogi cannot challenge Waddell

Clemente.jpg

Roberto may be trimmed, but remains centered.

Koufax.jpg

Sandy emulating Titus with the 'stache

Mays.jpg

Someone wanted Willie out of New York, but let him keep the cap.

Williams.jpg

Restoration is the key for the uglies. Ted's trim was carefully restored with a "Preston Ward" boarder.

Interested parties should simply refer to "The Mutants" in their inquiries.

I sincerely apologize for polluting this thread with gem mint uglies.

Default Well-loved , much-handled , poorly-stored....

..to the set-completionist crowd , any port in a storm is anthem -- if anyone out there is willing to help me out with an upgrade proposal of any of these , well that would be a noble thing to do seein' as how we're so close to Christmas and all...
