Default Who Is This Dude?? 1920s-30s Yankee Photo ID

Any ideas who this is? The back has an identification which I'm pretty sure is wrong. To avoid influencing any guesses I'll keep the back ID under wraps for now.

Jimmy,

That is what the typed id on the back says. And I wrestled with it for a few months. I showed it to a few people (incuding a couple of board members - Smokin' Baby Danc & Graig) to compare with known images of Bennett and all have reached the same conclusion that it is not Bennett. I'm not saying you are wrong because until EVERYONE I showed it to unanimously said it wasn't him I thought it was or at least could be.

I'm sticking with Bennett. Take a look at his shoulders, they're high and square, not sloping as is with most men.

I think the fact that Bennett is displaying an underbite in your photo (which is tremendous, by the way), is causing some confusion.

But the rest of him, from his shoulders, to his eyes and especially his ears, sure lines up to the guy noted on the reverse of the photo.

Eddie Bennett it is.

Thanks for the input guys. At least I know I wasn't crazy to think it was him. Just the more I stared at it the less sure I was. In addition to the underbite I think he just looks quite a bit less freaky in this photo too.
