Default 1909-1910 Goldsboro Giants

I recently gave a talk about the 1909-1910 Goldsboro Giants of the Eastern Carolina League. A number of their players were displayed on T209-2 and T210-7 cards.

In the process of doing my research I came across a poem that was written about the 1909 team, so I reproduced it and distributed it for my talk. The poetry is not all that good, but it does identify team members, by position, of a number of Goldsboro players depicted on T209/210.

If anyone would like a copy of the Goldsboro Giants poem, send me an email (mpeich12@gmail.com) with your address, and I will put one in the mail to you. I thought the poem was a pretty cool means of identifying some of the previously unknown players.

Cheers,
Mike
