Default I just won a Wagner!!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/280957772928...84.m1439.l2649

I am so excited to finally own a Wagner! I have never owned one and what a break! I was lead bidder at $12,100.00 and the seller decided to end it early and sell it to me w/o me even asking!!

I wanted to meet him in person but he said paypal only. When I explained that you couldn't paypal more than $10K, he was nice enough to say "just send me $2500.00 and the card is yours"

I paypal'd the $2500.00 immediately and am waiting anxiously for my T206 PSA graded Wagner!

Yippee!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if this is the same seller or not, but wasn't there a thread or two about how this seller didn't actually have these cards....?

You do realize that when the seller defaults, PayPal is going to have to fork over $2,500 for your loss.

Isn't this, in effect, defrauding PayPal because the buyer knows the seller is a fraud?

You need a doctor.

Think about it brain child.

I am going to send this idiot money and wait forever for paypal to get it back for me???

And the Wagner auction has been reported several times along with the Ruth auctions yet ebay leaves it up because the scammer had to pay fees for final value. So if I would have sent the money, ebay and paypal would have deserved the loss.

Plus I think they have insurance for their losses.

Perfectly reasonable explanation. I just thought Paypal buyer protection would get your money back in less than a week?

Doctor? Maybe you can recommend me one?

I actually have a rare "Proof" version that contains 15 commandments. The last five included stuff like "Thou shall not pick your nose in public", so I can see why they didn't make the cut!!

It's amazing, the number of typos in the finished product. "Thou shall not shill" became....
