my rubber stamp did the job, huh? I still think it should have gotten a better grade........at least a 40. I think they took off for the overprint. They are notorious for downgrading Old Judges to a 30 if they have any writing at all on them.

Leon, I do have two OVerprints! One of which you have never seen as well/...! I do not live in the " SHOW ME" state but will send you a scan or two next time I go over to my safe deposit box in sunny CA where it's a sweet 75 degrees and no sweating from high humitity ( where you and Tom also live! ). I think Tom was the first person I sold a Tango Brand Egg to! Now show us anything else worth the money!

I am going to have to talk to someone at SGC before I send some of my Indian cards in. The backs are designed such there is room for a store to stamp it's name on the back without covering up any of the type on the back. I don't want to send in a card that would normally get a 70 or 80 but get a 30 because it has a store stamp on the back.

Personally, I don't think that a card should be downgraded for this, especially if the card was designed to be stamped by the store.

Jay

The card wasn't downgraded for the overstamp I assure you. It should have been a 40 but I was just glad to have it in a holder, with the designated overstamp. There is a heavy crease you can not see on the front.....again, they did NOT take off for the overstamp.....and it should have been a 40 but why argue over it? They did good on the rest of the cards...although are definitely tight on the grades....SGC still rules in my book....best regards

I would have paid $100 for it! This one looks like it is in super nice condition. Minor advantage of staying home and working out of the house in the daytime.
