Default What is your current cardboard crush?

What card in your collection is the one you enjoy looking at most right now - what is displayed prominently and/or taken out most frequently to be drooled over?

I never get tired of looking at these.

It's just such a classic pose, and this set has such a "Warhol" feel to it, especially this card.

What is yours?
Here is one I like to look at. But my fave crush I can save until we make sure there are no "before" pictures of it.

Still one of my favorite cards. Have my fingers crossed he'll make it into the Hall one day. They're supposed to vote on "Early Baseball" next year. We'll see:

This is the best quality image of HOFer Peter Jackson that I've ever seen:

I cannot believe it is 123 years old.

When looking at this thread can’t help but wonder if autographs are real and which ones may be trimmed. Sad that it has come to this.

I've got two -a 1950 Bowman George Sternweiss autograph and a 1933 Goudey Joe Kuhel patent card (this one you can find at Heritage's site).

I'm pining away for a card from F. Scott Fitzgerald's collection but I might see Haley's Comet again before I get my hands on one. In that case, I'll take an autograph of either Lionel Carter, Dr. Lawrence Kurzrock or J. Warren Bowman.

I picked up the last Red Sox I needed for my project (Dizzy Trout) last January. Ted Lepcio was the first, I wrote to him in August 2014 when I first started working on it. Hopefully, my picture posted this time.

@Leon, to answer your question, right now, I am crushing on a $10 card - a McGwire All-Etch refractor. It is sitting in a mini snap on my desk and I just love rocking it back and forth in the light! Don't worry though - I'm two-timing it with some older cardboard I'll share soon!

We talked about these a little while back, but they are still my favorite cards at the moment. I have them right here next to me as I type.

Please do share it.

I wonder if red borders are more difficult to mess with? This is a crush each time I look at it, due to how nice it is relative to almost all others seen.

Also this. Yes it’s just an AS card but I think it’s slick and underrated...

This one, and I will stop. Not sure how it’s only a 1.5. There is some Philadelphia Caramel on the back and slight paper loss, but it’s not that bad. A very bright card that pops with the black SGC insert.

Agreed. The whole all-star subset might be underrated that year.

Have been enjoying my recent Campy additions. Am seeing how far I can get on a budget. You might be surprised to learn I got ALL these beauties for $150 total across five separate transactions.
