Circa 1890 McLoughlin Brothers Parlor Football Game
Popular among sports game collectors is this colorful football board game. The front depicts an illustrated Yale versus Princeton football game with incredible graphics. The inside of the box depicts a football field and also included are two spinners and some of the original game pieces. The lid is missing 2 parts of the apron as shown in the scan but it still displays nicely since the color of the inside is the same as the outside. The front of the game still exhibits vibrant colors and details despite being 120 years old. There are a few spots of wear as shown in the scans but the front is very nice looking. There is one indentation on the inside of the box. See the scan of the inside of the box and the picture of the back of the box. A tremendous display piece.
