Yes, Gar has been around since the beginning of time. He is a class act and a straight up guy. One thing to keep in mind though, he is old school from the 1970s so if you are into the sickening slab craze, then consider his grades 1 or 2 less than what he says.

And, even though he is old school, MOST of his grades are near or at the grade listed! I did have one that came back real low - the rest were within one grade or so of his listed grades.

I have dealt with Gar on and off for nearly 20 years...his grading is usually pretty good and his prices are always fair. His customer service is great. I used to send him a check with my wantlist and let him fill it. I always got way more than I expected. You should have no problems with him.
