Default Tinker to Evers to Chance

Posted By: Scott L

I've had the Chance for awhile. Just picked up the other two over the past few weeks. The Evers has been at the top of my want list for quite some time. I'm just so happy to finally have one.

My scanner is a POS.

in a Rotman's auction around 1995(?). Always thought it was neat and would go up in value or demand anyway. If the queen had balls.....
Anyway I wouldn't really Evers ell it

I find this an interesting topic with some great cards. I have a t207 Frank Chance and a t207 Joe Tinker card in my possession and I have been told that this set does not have an Evers card. Does anyone know why a t207 Johnny Evers card was never produced?

Ken

These are the saddest of possible words:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
Tinker and Evers and Chance.
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a Giant hit into a double --
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."

Josh- that's an impressive trio.

You might say that's like making the double play the hard way.

Recently I met a dealer who had three really nice T205's of this trio. He would not seperate them! I wanted that Evers..Great players of a still formative time in Baseball history! Forget the stats!!
