Default bad pickup for the money?

Posted By: Dave

$228.50 welcome opinons, i'm by far not very knowledable with e105's, but am intrigued.. and further more, i'm assuming only send this to SGC? and it will only have a chance at grading a 10 or even just auth?

I bid 175.00 for it. I don't think you over paid. It is a nice type. It is going to be a 1 though.

Seems like a reasonable price to me. Many of the cards have that fold due to how they were inserted into the packs of gum.

there is a theory that some were folded when packed is why the
crease down the middle ,I dont know. I have owned at least 70
through the years and only 1 had this issue. maybe it was the way they were opened and not layed.

This is a tough card, it will get a 10 sgc or gai. Doesnt look
altered.

Ok....so for the money spent....so so, and as far as who to send to.....SGC or GAI, don't send to PSA on this one seems to be the opinion?

the people above seem lukewarm, but I think this was an excellent pickup for the money. I was an underbidder and would have liked to go higher, but I've made too many other purchases lately. But any Mello-Mint HOFer in a solid 10 for less than $300 is a great price.

The McGraw is a decent buy. Mello-Mints in general are tough in any condition, with the exception of Knight, Bescher, Young and Lajoie.
