1929 ? Philadelphia As matchbooks
I bought a collection of matchbooks today and these were included. Has anyone seen these before? What year were they printed to celebrate the As 1929 world Championship? Inside covers are blank. Thanks for any help.

Yes, both use of zip code and the strikers on the back indicate they can't be newer than 1960's, but certainly appear newer than even that. I'd venture 1980's.

I've seen these before. 80s-90s. There are a lot of collector-centric matchbook issues of that era. Most anything you see that isn't product driven is a collector issue post-1980.
There are some cool and inexpensive A's matchbooks that were issued every year in the 1920s until WWII. They have nice art and season schedules and can be had for under $20.
