Default Does anybody know what this is?

This is an old photo of Ed Konetchy in a St. Louis Cardinal uniform. It is 6 1/4 by 9 3/16 inches. It is printed on a heavy stock. There is no information printed on the photo. The back is plain. Konetchy played for the Cardinals from 1907-1913.

I bought it in an antique store 15-20 years ago for less than $10.

Is it part of a set or just an old photo? Thanks for any help.

Default That's awesome!

I just got a Konetchy T206 in the mail yesterday. That's a great piece! I will gladly double your money if you want to sell it.

A tough autograph. Here's his last driver's license.

Default Drivers License

Very cool drivers license! You can't get much better authentication than that. My wife has signed my checks, but she has never signed my drivers license.

Thanks for sharing.

Great! We now have expert confirmation that it is an old photo.

Has anyone seen similar photos that may be considered part of a set? Do you think this is a team issue or more likely something that Mr. Konetchy had made for his personal use?

All comments and opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Jerry,

I'm not aware of any "set" that would have consisted of photos like that from back in Ed's playing days. It could be from when he played, it could be something he had made after he retired. It looks absolutely great!! I'd like to find something like that. Congratulations.
