Default Exciting pennant find...well I think it's exciting LOL

I've been a pennant and Cubs collector for a loooong time and have never seen this piece before. I found it on ebay and was astounded when I won it for the opening bid. I'm assuming most who viewed it believed it to be a mini and passed it by. It is full sized (29") and of the heavy lush felt of the 30s and 40s. There are some cracks in the paint, but I LOVE the graphics. It's always a thrill to add a previously undiscovered piece to my collection and I thought I had seen every Cub pennant made...keep hunting folks.

I saw this one on there for $100 or so and knew I had not ever seen this one before. My only interest would be for resale and I couldn't decide what the mark up would be. I knew there was still meat on the bone, but because it is pretty simple I didn't know what someone would be willing to pay for an undated and uncatalogued pennant like this. I'm glad someone that will enjoy it picked it up as it is a rare pennant.

Thanks for the Kudos...FYI my snipe was for $350. The exceedingly rare pennants of the big market teams are always in great demand. There are a ton of Cubs collectors in general and they pay out the nose for the super tough...I know because I am one...LOL.
