That may already be a new record for a baseball book with a dust jacket, and it's not over yet.

Yipes. It has jumped a bit since this morning.

I can tell you however with some certainty that it is not a record for an unsigned baseball book with dust jacket.

So, Max is that Dust Cover worth $5000.00? How many do you think are out there?

Yes, I believe it is. There are at least 5 or 6 well-heeled collectors who I can imagine are bidding on this. Whether it's $5 K or $10K, I don't think it would make a difference. (but I am out of the bidding on this as it's at $6K)

This is the third dust jacket I've seen.

In case you were outbid in the Legendary auction, perhaps some are still available at a lower price from the publisher....

Max- I'm heading over to 156 Fifth Avenue to see if they have any left. I can at least save the 12 cents postage. Nice ad.

Better be quick. I think there are only a couple left in the window...

Cool...I'm sure that building is still there. And it's around 20th Street. I'm out the door....
