With a lot of help from my right hand guy, Brian McQueen, we have added the section on detecting card issues. It will be a work in progress and I expect a lot of updates to it in the near future....Brian did 100% of the technical stuff and I really appreciate his work.....We look forward to this being a great new place on the board....regards

It's great! One oops - in the article on Goudeys he refers to including several images from the different series of Goudeys since the paper stock differs, but the images didn't make it to the website.

Thanks Leon! This is definitely a great start and some very good information...I'm sure it will take on a life of it's own as more folks contribute to the effort. Having purchased at least a few trimmed cards myself, I'm beginning to truly appreciate how these alterations are detected.

Leon:

This has been on Pete C's site for several years. It's a good basic tool:

Sorry it took so long to get going but it was my fault. I have had some other things I have been dealing with lately. My guess is that literally less than 3% of the info that I hope to have up there is up there now....It will be infinitely better in the not too distant future....Please know that this is not Brians, or my, full time job ( a few newbies might not know this) so we have other things we do that are actually more important than this....but this is great fun for both of us....best regards
