Default SGM 10 Mint of Better

Posted By: David

Taking a page from Beckett, SGC will be offering similar '10 = Mint of better' grades specifically for and on the reuest of Shop at Home. I beleive they will be labelled SGM and will have a different color holder.

SGM is only for modern cards. The larger issue, I think, is that all "professional card grading" is proving to be merely a 2nd opinion and often not a very good 2nd opinion, at that. As a business, it stinks (see the CLCT - aka, PSA - stock price as a good indictator), but more importantly, they don't know what they're doing, based on the arbitrary/biased/incorrect results they produce.

Plastic tombs aren't only annoying, they're also bad for collecting.

What I find amusing is the sway that Kenny Goldin (the lowest of the low, in my opinion) has over the hobby.
