Default High Grade Cubs Cards

I have high grade Cubs cards on sale at triple the current VCP for those that really want vintage Cubs cards. We are talking fraction of standing room only. Get them while they are hot.

Just kidding. Do you think that this will give a boost to value bringing Cubs fan into the history of their last win? This is the second World series in a row that referenced players in the T206 set.

Pretty sure most other people on the board caught the stats. I would like to use this post as a way to talk about the stats between the last Cubs win and now and any other world series stats that pertain to the T206 set, or other world series stats that pertain to world series stats that date to T206 players and era.

Here is one for you...
In the 108 years that passed between WS victories, there were a lot of amazing things...but in 1908 there were no such thing as a T206

A few minutes after the last out, I had 2 different people buy a Tinker t206 from my ebay store. Before that i hadn't even considered that t206 Cubs might get a little spike in demand. It makes sense that they would though in hindsight.

Here is the stat from the 2015 World Series:

Patsy Dougherty was the only man to hit a leadoff inside-the-park World Series home run until 2015, when Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar did it in Game 1.

I can't speak for the rising prices of Cubs cards, but a 1968 Cubs flannel road jersey of someone I've never heard of just sold in the Fall REA auction for $3,900.
