Please confirm a rumor I heard:

The Wagner had 800 written on the back as shorthand for 800 k. Someone saw this and offered $700.

That is exactly the story that Richard Masson told me ( Masson was the owner of the Wagner).

thats funny...similar thing happened to me at 85 nat'l in st louis...david b had a t215 pirate for sale I asked to see it and thought the price on the back was $150...so I agreed to buy it. He was all lovey dovey. When I went to pay...he barked that's $1500...and he wasn't so nice anymore!!!!
