Default Collect.com Auctions results

I was on vacation when the Aug. 27 Collect.com Auction closed, and finally had a chance to stop in to "headquarters" yesterday to look at a couple of consignments that have come in for the Dec. 3 sale.

Auction director Steve Bloedow told me that betwen the debut auction June 18 and the Aug. 27 auction, the numbers of registered bidders, page views, watchers and bids more than doubled. The final bid wasn't placed until after 3:15 a.m. Once again for our Aug. 27 sale, as for our June 18 auction, all consignor's checks will be in the mail prior to 30 days after the sale closes.

The consignment deadline for our "Blue Ribbon Sports and Americana" auction closing on Dec. 3 is coming up fast, Oct. 10.

For high-end items valued at $5,000+, we're offering consignors:
A full page in our catalog
Video lot presentation on Youtube and on F+W's collectibles sites
Featured presentation in the e-mail newsletter to all bidders
Featured presentation in print advertising.

If you've got items you'd like to consign, drop me a PM or an e-mail.

Bob Lemke
Consignment director
