Default Photographic paper stock question. Please help

I received a bunch of yankee snap shots from someone I have done business with before.

Most of them look like this...






I know these are period, as I am comfortable with the photo stock, smell etc.

Now my question is this...

Last batch the photos were 1957, and this batch is as well.

There were 3 5 x 7 enlarged photos that were a bit blurrier but with same kid as the others in it. The back says kodak.

Was this paper around in 1957?
