Default New cards for the Herpolshiemer Checklist (from the BAND-AID BOX COLLECTION)

I just went through the checklist here:
https://prewarcards.com/2016/09/08/1...and-checklist/

It would seem that the following cards in the 39 card Band-Aid Box Collection are new to the 1921 HERPOLSHEIMER checklist....
  • Dave Davenport | P. | St. Louis Americans
  • Jacques Fournier| 1st. B. | St. Louis Nationals
  • Carl Weilman | P. | St. Louis Americans
  • Charles Stengel | R.F. | Philadelphia Nationals

*UPDATE: See below. Now comparing what has been seen in the grading populations.

I don't know baseball or these cards anywhere near as well as you guys, so I might have missed a nickname or AKA of one of guys above (i.e. a Walter becomes a Wally, Urban as Red, etc.).

If anyone is interested, I'll try to get some scans up of these 4 cards in the next couple of days!

The checklist you cited is not necessarily accurate, as it appears to simply re-list the E121-80 cards. The Herpolsheimer cards were likely printed slightly earlier, and are more akin to the Holsum or Standard Biscuit cards from that period.

Davenport and Weilman appear in the SGC reports, and Fournier in the PSA pop reports.

I see Fournier in the 1916 set for Herpolsheimer at SGC, but not 1921. I see he's in PSA though. I'll use PSA POP to review the list again.

Ok when I look at it that way (checking population of SGC / PSA) I wind up with (8) 1921 Herpolsheimer cards that are in neither population:
  • ARTHUR NEHF
  • JOHNNY EVERS
  • TRIS SPEAKER
  • JACK MCINNIS
  • HARRY HOOOPER
  • CHARLES STENGEL
  • WALTER SCHANGE
  • GEORGE SISLER

SGC:
https://sgclegacy.com/PopulationReport.aspx?setid=13817

PSA:
https://www.psacard.com/pop/baseball...sheimers/40209

But as Leon pointed out above, SGC actually did grade a 1921 HERPOLSHIEMER's backed CHARLES STENGEL, but appears they have grouped it with the 1921 American Caramel Co. set (in error?)

Of course Beckett may have graded some as well. Still working on it.

Since there is so much ambiguity in the way these are categorized it is going to be difficult to get a handle on the population.
