The starting bid is way too high not to mention the shipping costs .

I'm thinking this is in fact genuine, but signed by Ruth when he was 5.

Default whoa........

Leon,

Not sure but I'm pretty certain that at a minimum the B is fake, looks like maybe the A also. 2nd B most definitely, and the E is no good.

My in depth EXPERT () analysis on the Ruth is as follows.....the R looks suspect, as does the U, and the T is BAD, and I'm pretty sure the H is a secretarial.

The seller also has an office job as that hand in the photo is way to clean!

Peace, Mike

I'm thinking the R is a little questionable, but the rest looks great.

The Babe was a time traveler? Is that signed with a Sharpie.?

Maybe the seller's name is Babe Ruth.

Default baby ruth

The seller does have 100% feedback. Perhaps we need to rethink our skepticism. Or perhaps we should munch out on a great candy bar.

best,
barry

Easy to understand that it's the Australian version of the Babe sig, probably signed while riding a kangaroo.

You guys are always so suspicious!

Close, but similar to the direction toilets flush, autographs are written in the opposite direction when you're south of the Equator and Ruth just had a little trouble with it.

I know I am relatively a newbie to sports collecting, so my opinion on the signature is moot. However, I have learned a thing or two since joining this forum, and one question should always be asked. I wonder if the seller has any provenance? I am also a little suspicious because all his past sales are shoes, with one bad feedback. Now if this was a pair of the Babe's game worn Nike Air Max Lights, I would be more apt to believe in the credibility of the seller. I recommend caution before bidding.

I think it's supposed to be funny and drive traffic to the link.

The only thing wrong that I see is that the "t" is not entirely crossed. I don't think I've seen any other Ruth autos like that.
