Default Extra Large Detroit Pictures

Posted By: joe

I know this is not a card, but thought people might like to see.

Ty Cobb large 30 X 40 inch photograph, identified "Detroit News Photo MURAL By MULTI-COLOR" also have Heilman, Cochrane, Crawford, Schoolboy Rowe at the same size and Tommy Bridges with Umpire and catcher, that size is larger 40 X 60 inches. Purchase about 25 years ago from Bay city resident Walt Graveline who was 92 years old at the time. He had these hanging in his clothing store for years. I think these were created using very large cameras in the 1930's or earlier. Some of these same photos hang in the Michigan HOF at Cobo hall. As I remember they had a color tint to them.
