Default How often do you kick yourself for not placing a higher bid...

So last night I am bidding on a card and of course get sniped at the end. Who knows if I would have won if I placed a higher bid, not knowing the max snipe bid.

How often does it happen when you just wish you would have bid more on a card that you really wanted but just didn't bid the max amount you were willing to spend on the card.

Never. When I snipe, I really, truly put the highest amount I'm willing to pay for a lot. This is the dilemma with fixed-time ending auctions: because some bidders DON'T snipe with their honest-to-gosh highest bid, money is lost to the sellers...and the auctioneer. That's why eBay is still such a great place to buy!

Ditto. The only time I end up in that kicking myself mode is when the auction is live.

Every day!!! But, if I won everything I bid on, my happy home would probably belong to somebody other than me! I am having a blast cherry-picking, or low-balling if you will. Every win seems a little sweeter.

Not once since the recession started.

I think it is a tie between bidding not enough and bidding more then I should have on an item.

It all balances out, right?
