It's not the first example of that happening that I've seen. I think the folks at Topps just got in a hurry and screwed up. One thing I would like to know is: Would Topps be willing to replace repro-cards they mistakingly inserted into buy-back card holders with the real thing?

Here we have a bidder who has won one of these for $300 and he's bidding on an obvious reprint. Makes one wonder.

I don't know the seller, he may be a straight, forthright fellow.

But I think the card is a reprint, and I doubt that Topps got it wrong, I think someone sliced into that on the edge and swapped cards.

When the Topps T206 came out, I never saw a reprint in a holder. I sometimes saw an original T205 or T207, but never a reprint T206. I believe Topps got the mostly low grade cards from folks like Kit Young, and Young wouldn't be one to accidentally along a reprint.

We've all heard of cut signatures errors on cards, but if Topps accidentally inserted a reprint into the holders, I've never heard of it before.

opening the Topps premium re-inserts and putting fake cards in them. I saw 4/5 N28 baseball players in the A&G throwback set which I don't believe were ever in the original offerings. It doesn't seem logical that such a card as this T206 would be purposely inserted by someone as the econimic benifits are low?

I bought these from the same seller. Just kidding. Obviously, it would not be very hard to do.
