Default Top Prewar Collectors in the Hobby

I just read the article on Donald Spence in the latest issue of SMR. The guy is impressive and completely dominates the PSA Set Registries. (And it looks like he is bringing his Babe Ruth Master collection to National to display.) It got me thinking who are the other top collectors in the hobby. I've heard of some of the names like Halper and Conlon, but curious on who would be considered some of the others. Obviously, some of them are probably posters on this board. I would also say to keep the list to collector-focused rather than full time dealers although I know some of the top collectors were dealers in the past.

It's a very valid question. You may get some smart-ass answers but I think most people won't comment too much on this subject out of respect for the privacy of those collectors.
