Default Help ID'ing a Nebraska athlete

Hi........ I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify the Nebraska athlete on this pin back I received. He's the "Omaha Sportcasters Association 1968 Sportsman of the year".He could be from any sport.I've tried googling, but all I could find out was that in 1967 Bob Gibson was the "OSA" sportsman of the year and in 1970 it was Gordie Howe.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ..... edtiques

It's Stan Bahnsen. He was the 1968 American League Rookie of the Year.
