Default Cap Anson theater contract

I have seen a couple of these up for sale, and here is one at auction currently:

http://smalltraditions.com/LotDetail...ograph-LOA-JSA

Looks from the generic auction LOA that this sold in a previous Paragon auction and got the "pre-approval" or whatever it is.

This is the first one I've seen since reading Ron K's auto book. In it, he states explicitly:

There are also a few theatrical contracts in the market. Anson was known to do some acting with women billed as his daughters. The contracts are signed as 'Captain Anson and Daughters.' I have seen two of them. Both were signed by someone other than Anson.

He also says he's never seen a legit auto with the Captain nickname at all.

Looking at it, I must agree. I could be wrong (and so could Ron for that matter), but the lack of slant on the contract auto says a lot to me. Methinks there is some sloppy TPA work going on here, with a legally binding contract meaning that authenticators need not consider the actual autograph, apparently.

Any thoughts?

Even without seeing Ron's documentation, I don't think it looks good. FWIW.
