Default T205 Gardner Comparison Choice

Ok, one more time with the which would you keep? This one is a little tougher and why I thought one was better, I am not really sure.

Much closer call for me on this one. Left looks nicer but smaller borders with identical back worry me a little. Add in the soiling on the back and think I go right.

The one on the left has a richer red and I do NOT mind the tobacco (?) smudge OR the slight off-centering of the reverse. I kinda like seeing A LITTLE BIT of evidence that these things were in packs of smokes AND are ~110 years old!

I WOULD BE THRILLED TO BUILD A SET THAT LOOKED LIKE EITHER, THO!

left one looks nicer, but shorter borders. So I'd prob lean to the right.

Leon, you realize that if you were to sell the card on the left you might have to disclose that people have compared it to other similar cards and the borders look a bit smaller therefore people subjectively believe that the card may be trimmed.... if you don't disclose this, then you're a dirt bag...

I'd take the card on the left just because it is well centered and has nicer corners. The back is not as clean as the card on the right but that's fine, it's not like it's an "8".... right.... Leon, in your opinion is the card trimmed.... JUST KIDDING!!!

Thanks ya'll. Keeping the one on the left (above). And as I say I am not going to upgrade as much any longer I won an upgrade in Sterling Auctions just last night.
Here are 6 T205s that came in yesterday from Pete G.....
All are PB backs and all are 2.5s and 3s...backs only have a little staining on them... I wish all of my cards looked like these..
