Default Info on Reach Evers Bat

Just picked this one up at an estate sale. It's almost 34" long and and the brand is marked Player Model AJ Reach Co. Philadelphia PA with Evers (I assume Johnny) on the barrel. Awesome condition. I'll post up some pictures when I can, but if anyone could give me an approximate date the bat was manufactured from this information I'd appreciate it. I guessed 1915ish, but that could be completely wrong.

Thanks in advance!

David,
I can't tell you much about the bat, but I'm sure others can. Look forward to a few photos.
Tell us about "the find". I assume it wasn't an auction. Did your heart race until you were able to get it in your grasp?
Congrats. JV

By "the find" do you mean this bat? It was an auction. For some reason there are no tag sales around here unfortunately.

I paid $7.50 (plus tax) for this bat and a circa 1985 red softball bat that I left on the floor.

Wow! Bidding must have been fierce. Sounds like the best $7.50 you've ever spent!

Here are some pictures. If anyone can give me a date for the bat or any other information I'd really appreciate it.

Nice bat, I'd say 1910-20. Typically sell in the 250-350 range.

Great! Thanks! I couldn't believe it was sitting in an umbrella stand with a modern softball bat.

I appreciate the information!
