Uh, does anyone believe this is really an autograph? Some guy testing his pen maybe?

a ball point sig on a t206 isn't out of the question. I don't know the esxact year, but I know one of players in the t206 was alive well into the 80s.

I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home, I would be arrested. So, I go to baseball games and fit right in.

Marquard was alive into the early '80's I believe. I have an autographed T206 of his.

Looks like a bunch of squiggle lines to me, not much of an auto IMHO.

Jay,
I do realize that the "autograph" could have been done in later years. That also might explain the extreme sloppiness of the "'graph", being that it may have been done by an elderly man. But the seller claims that he was told by the previous owner that Hunter signed the card at "a baseball event in 1909" and that cannot be.

I can't get the link to work, but if it's ballpoint pen the ballpoint pen was not around in 1909. I beleive it was invented in the 1930s, but not available to the general public until the 1940s.

As a puppy, one of my dogs (Henry's brother) chewed up a bic ballpoint. He was 1/3 bright blue for about a week.
