Default 1967T Mickey Stanley

Just received this beauty today from fellow Net54 and OBCer Brian Lindholme. Only 23 to go (all high numbers, of course!)

Default please

Please don't tell anyone as I usually don't collect post-1949 cards.....but couldn't resist these 2 Bowmans......they have blank backs as the backs are printed on the fronts, or vice versa..

Hell-if-I-know . I certainly didn't buy these based on valuations. They were only about $40 a piece anyway. I just like them......but to your question. Not sure we can tell anyway? IF a tree falls and no one hears it.....

If you'd care to move the Shantz, I'd gladly take it off your hands...

Default Auravision Progress

Making some good progress on my 2012 project of unpunched '64 Auravisions. Finally got up-to-date with my scanning. I put them all together to save space.

Nice pickups. I noticed those last week too. The guy had some interesting stuff. I believe he also had a Ted Williams, plus a Nellie Fox rookie with the overprints..

I had looked for more but didn't seen any. It was Probstein123 that had them. And these 2 reside in my collection so are not for sale. Plus I try not to post new pickups when things are for sale. That's not my gig....thanks for the kind words otherwise though. happy collecting.

I was thinking of a different seller. justcollectcards. He had 3 different Fox rookie overprints, and 3 Ted Williams and a shitload more...And they all went fairly cheap. Now that I'm looking, that was a month ago. Still, nice pickups Leon.

Interesting overprints. Can't recall seeing '51's before. Looks like the first color of the fronts was put over the backs, so could have been the printed back sheet was inadvertently reversed when it was put in the press. If that was the case, there should be more of them around, i.e., 34 or 70 additional overprints on the effed up sheet, unless most were trashed back then.

Default 1948 Speedway Kell

I was very excited to find and get this one. Kell is one of my favorite HOFers because I grew up watching him and Kaline do the Tigers games. Glad to get this obscure premium in such good condition.

Leon, I picked up the same Musial pose but in a 1951 Berk Ross from someone on B/S/T. It's funny, I thought Musial had something like a towel wrapped around his neck in the Berk Ross photo, but I can see that he doesn't in the Bond Bread premium.
