Default People do weird stuff on eBay

Was looking at this apparently genuine T202 and noticed it was being sold as a package deal with a Ty Cobb Ty Cobb reprint. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1912-T202-H....c100005.m2219 Apart from the listing title and photo, the Ty Cobb reprint isn't even mentioned in the description. I figure the seller probably did this in order to be able to put Ty Cobb in the title and catch the eye of anyone searching for a Ty Cobb T206. Kind of like eBay clickbait. But still, it comes across as kind of bizarre, and actually makes me distrust the seller and not want to buy from them.

My favorite one was somebody a few years ago was selling 100 wheat pennies.

The final sales price including shipping ... 88 cents.

I was so tempted to bid ... but I was afraid I might push it up over a dollar and thus would lose the amusement of the listing.

I bought a Jackie Robinson card from him in the past and was very pleased. I remember receiving a reprint Jackie 1949 Leaf rookie along with it. He was also set up at the National with a bunch of cool items. Not sure why this would put you off... Just interesting marketing IMO

Fair enough. Good to hear he's above board.

Yeah, not a great looking T202, although it might just be a bad photo. But it does have great grandpa, and I'm trying to corner the market
