Default Perceptions of Beauty

Saw a card today that had a cut patch of a towel that a player wiped his face on? I laughed to myself and thought, “where is this hobby heading and why would anyone want this card?” I began to think about my cards and laughed again at myself…….I think my W555 Vaughn and my W565 Lazzari are so awesome. When I got them I was so happy to put them into my Yankee type collection. I bet those collectors who own that towel card are thinking, “why would anyone want those ugly cards?” I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder !

That one reminded me of this one I kept from a '51 Bowman set I acquired. It is the only card I kept...
