Default Refresh my Memory

I seem to recall there was a discussion on here about cards that had similar inking on them like this 1933 Goudey Averill. If I'm remembering correctly, it had to do with being cut from an advertising piece??? Does anyone else remember the discussion or know the thread where I can find more information about what these markings are?

I seem to recall this is something interesting ... just don't recall what was interesting about it though!

Thanks for any help,
Patrick

Guess no one has!

It looks familiar to me, and I recall figuring it out at one point ... but my memory ain't what it used to be!

Cheers,
Patrick
