Further proof that my attempts to define and stick to a collecting goal is a useless endeavor. But I like all three of my pickups.

Same here Mark, I have no business picking up any T206 non-Tolstoi's, but I couldn't resist!

Nelson if you right click and "copy image location" straight from Sterlings' listing you can manually change the size when you paste the link here.

http://sterlingsportsauctions.com/It...20244a_lg.jpeg

Change the "lg" designation in the link to "med" so your link would be

http://sterlingsportsauctions.com/It...0244a_med.jpeg

This will reduce the image size down the a smaller size like in my post.

LOL Thanks Rob.
I love the color of the cuccinello, i have no plan to bid on it but when i saw the price i took the decision to bid only 1 time and hop i won it at 32$

For the cochrane i looked for a sgc 40 since couple time on ebay, but on ebay the price was always too high.

My first experience with a auction house and i think i will repeat this experience in a near futur

Thanks mark !!

Here's mine from this month. I really like the Sterling Auctions. Looks like it's gaining in popularity though. I probably overpaid for the EPDG Reulbach, but I wanted it. For me, trying to put together a lower grade collection, each month I've been able to pick up a few at what I consider very reasonable prices. These were the only four I bid on and my max held up on each of them:

Default my lone win

I was the only bidder on this one. Thought many of the T206s went on the cheap...

Someone must have really, really wanted the T213 Donlin, I finally gave up
I did manage to add a couple of cards to my sets I am working on, so I am happy. I enjoy Lee's auctions.

Default 19th Century Trades

I had multiple bids in on the 19th Century Trade Cards. The H804-8A Sporting Life received solid bids, all going for $110-150 each with the juice.

Even the H804-11 Cosacks represented well, gathering strong prices at $100-140 each.

I had to settle for my first H804-8B Sporting Life, but very happy with this card for my trade type set.

Agreed Erick,

I picked up the O'Neil SGC 40 for $26+BP. Pretty cheap for a fairly tough common.

I'm always looking to add Skydash T210's and this Lovell was an upgrade for my set to boot.

It wasn't me. I'm only working on T213 Hall of Famers. Nice Griffith.

I did buy this card, though I have no earthly idea why.

Default My pickups

Picked up two T206 Cubbies that I still needed, and loved the fact that the Rube Kroh with the SC 350 30 back also had a Toy Town stamp.

Oh, and nice Reulbach EPDG...now I know who beat me out for it!

My first Tattoo at great price--fantastic looking clean Lefty Grove tho presumably very slightly trimmed. I don't like SGC normally mounting these so low but this one is closer to center.

I'm pretty sure that's a kama sutra position

Love that matty. I used to have that card then got rid of it why ill never know haha. Great pick ups though.

I scored a few from this past auction. One i really liked for my 34 Goudey Set. John Frederick PSA 6. I also picked up these for some cheap money to put into the collection.

I said earlier, I hate how SGC (for some reason) usually leaves a lot of space between edge of the Tattoos and their black insert--and also mounts them too low instead of roughly centered. One reason I bought the Grove card that I posted earlier, since SGC did it a little differently with that....
