Do the sides look handcut to you? Top trimmed? I'm not all that familiar with this issue so maybe they come that way. Any comments?

All of those cards look very odd to me. Wavy cuts, faded colors, I would stay clear of them.

Ben, I think that's just poor cropping by the seller. The edges are decent upon zooming.

Must be bad scans as well. The color is very light.

there's no way that's a cropping issue. If it were the edges would be straight and even. I will agree that the faded look may be due to poor scanning but not those edges.

The strange color alone would keep me from bidding, but also what he sells. He has only 5 PreWar items out of almost 400, and best item is a T206 McGinnity (looks trimmed). His other scans have normal color, and he has a few graded cards, why are these a strange color, and why not have these graded????

Im not sure, but I dont even think the T227s are authentic.

I agree - they all looked very phony to me. In addition, if you look close at some of the edges, it almost appears as though its a color print on paper that has been glued onto some cardboard (some of the edges appear to have a double line to them - look at the bottom edge of the cobb card).
