Default Huggins & Scott Auction winnings

They won't be confused with the PSA 9s of the Swamp Find but pretty decent E98s at a reasonable price. These cards are color variations I needed. Note-they are all the correct size, the Bridwell and Vaugh aren't rare mini-E98s :-)

Nice pick-up. I was the underbidder on your E98's, but did manage to hold on and win a couple of T206 lots.

I picked up a few choice e98s as well in that big group of them. I'll have a few extras when the cards arrive from H&S. If anyone is interested in the Wagner, Davis, Chance or Kling, let me know....

I really wanted the Fielder Jones autograph but got beat out at the last minute, but I settled for the Caramelo Deportivo album.

Thats an interesting ghost image. One more side by side confirmation. Almost doesn't look like Miller but its hard to tell just by the shade.

The high res scan shows a bit more detail, Millers hand is shown in the white border. I have been meaning to start a side by side list.

I definitely overpaid but I'm a sucker for oversized T206's. Plus I have been wanting a red Cobb for a long time. Centering, registration and color look good as well. So I'm a happy camper.

Nice wins, guys!

I won the lot of four signed 1934-36 Diamond Stars; really happy to add these to my signed Diamond Stars set.

Underbidder on a couple of lots, and one of the ones I wanted, I bid it up to a premium and then dumped it on someone else. I felt like Darrel on Storage Wars!

Nope the Lajoie was already taken by the time I got in. I'm still on the look out. That was a nice Lajoie, not quite as sharp as the one I sold you, but very nice.

That is a great Gehrig, Pete, I gave up bidding on it when I saw the E98s were going to fall my way. Congratulations on a nice looking very tough card.

Nice pick up on the e98's. How many do you have now and how many more do you need for the master set? It's been a lot of fun watching you add to the set over the years.

Best.

Hi Andy, thanks! I'm actually closer on the E94 (percentage wise) where I have 171 of the 180 color variations, plus 5 orange variations.
On the E98s, in the last 10 years I have sold 2 complete sets, had UPS lose a complete set which was coming back from the TPG company, and have sold numerous E98s from time to time but I am making another go at it now. I have all but the Lajoie in the reds, and about 65 of the remaining 90 in the blues, greens and oranges, so I have a ways to go.
I am so frustrated by the fact the E94 color variations I need never seem to show up (Jeff L.'s violet Cobb he got at the National being the lone exception), that I have turned to buying more E98s and E99 color variations.
