Default Rucker (Portrait)

Hi Tim,

I can confirm Rucker (Portrait) with an SC150/25 reverse.

Best Regards,
Craig

Default With Regard to Fielder Jones

Tim,

Currently your list has:

Jones, Fielder (Hands At Hips) Unconfirmed with SC150/25 back
Jones, Fielder (Portrait) Confirmed with SC150/25 back

However, Scot Reader's Inside T206 shows just the opposite:

Jones, Fielder (Hands At Hips) Confirmed with SC150/25 back
Jones, Fielder (Portrait) Unconfirmed with SC150/25 back

I looked thru ebay and was able to find Jones, Fielder (Hands At Hips) with SC150/25 back:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1910-T206-Fielde...#ht_1685wt_817

But I could not find Jones, Fielder (Portrait) with an SC150/25 back.

In post #13 of this thread, willworkforT206 (Steve C.) confirmed Fielder Jones Portrait with SC150/25 back. You may want to ask him to double-check this.

Best Regards,
Craig

Craig - I have sent an email regarding the Fielder confirmation and will let you know if you don't see a post in the thread first.

Regarding the Fielder (Hands at Hips) I found one that is currently for sale with a front and back scan so it can be taken off the list. If anyone needs one I'll point you to it.

Currently 139 have been confirmed and 13 are still unconfirmed.

Here is a list of just the unconfirmed cards to this point:

Bell, George (Hands Above Head)
Bergen, Bill (Batting)
Bridwell, Al (Portrait - No Cap)
Chesbro, Jack
Crawford, Sam (Throwing)
Criss, Dode
Konetchy, Ed (Glove Above Head)
Lumley, Harry
Niles, Harry
Seymour, Cy (Batting)
Stovall, George (Portrait)
Sullivan, Billy
Tenney, Fred

Default Jennings Portrait?

Hey Tim,

I noticed you didn't include Hugh Jennings (Portrait) in the list, even though it's a 150-350 Series card. However, I've never personally seen it, nor have i ever seen it reported with any of the three SC150 backs. Any thoughts on why this is so?

Also wanted to say thank you for coordinating these SC Fact 25 surveys. IMHO, T206 surveys are invaluable as we always seem to learn something from them.

Always Best Regards,
Craig

I could speculate on Jennings but at this point that would be all I could do. Why Jennings Portrait was only printed with a Piedmont back in the 150 series print run and then carried over into the 350 series is one of those T206 questions that may never be answered for sure.

I appreciate that but coordinating the surveys is the easy part. The real thanks should go to all the collectors who contribute to the surveys and sharing of information.
