Default Ted Williams Root Beer & Wrigley Sign

Was following a few items tonight, and saw them go pretty cheap.

Is there a particular reason why these items went for so little? Are they fakes or reproductions? I am trying to learn about odd ball items, and these seemed to evade me.

Let me know our thoughts please.

The Williams sign was heavily reproduced and the one you posted is most likely one of them. Don't think it is original.

And the Wrigley Sign is about the 7th or 8th to turn up in the last 3 months. These are all over the place. I would avoid it as well.

To expand on the above, I dont believe there were any originals made of metal. I have only seen originals made of cardboard and yes they are highly reproduced

Default williams root beer sign

Would agree that the only original Ted's Root Beer signs were made of cardboard. I've seen lots of the metal signs and none to my knowledge are period.
