You didn't say it had to be a baseball-related mug.

Sometimes I even drink coffee out of it!

I am sure coffee isn’t the only thing. Cool mug.

Is that a map in the picture too?

Yes. It's map of the civil parish/townland area in Ireland (Breaghwy) where my paternal great-great-grandfather lived from about 1880 until he died in 1901.

Very interesting. Maps and ancestors. Two things that have always intrigued me.

This one is another favorite. I bought this from some of the friendliest ladies you’ll ever meet. The Carnegie Historical Society that also doubles as the Honus Wagner museum. They have these mugs to help fund the small operation there. Not an overwhelmingly great museum but the ladies there are so enthusiastic they made me fall in love with the place.

Jon, thanks for the kind words. I like the stats MORE than the front of my mug. That's why it sits on my shelf with the stats facing me!

Al, you should patent tht as a natural form of pest control. Keep this around your home and no pests dare cross the threshold of that home. Just kidding!

It took longer than I expected for that mug to show up on this thread. Not sure we can top it.

Default Art Fromme

These mugs were sold by the New York Public Library and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1991. The choice of subjects was verry odd.......there are seven Hall of Famers, plus pitcher Art Fromme. Go figure.
