I have to admit that there is a whole world of additional variations not commonly identified by the collecting community. Here are the ones I discovered that are detailed in a prewarcards.com article, some already mentioned above:

Collins, Eddie - closed mouth w/yellow elephant

Graham, George - Rustlers w/blue signature

Hoffman, Danny - yellow 2nd base

Miller, Dots - middle initial 'D'

Miller, Dots - middle initial 'D' with partial 'B'

Snodgrass, Fred - missing decimal point on .405 batting average

White, Doc - no quotation marks on Doc

Any others known out there? I suggest on all of these less recognized variations that Speckled EGGS be awarded (otherwise known as an asterisk). So for example, if you have three of the above variations, you would have three asterisks beside your total.

The applicable saying could be as follows: You shouldn't put all your EGGS in the basket before they hatch"

Not sure if you T205 fans have notice but CSG is now adding the back variation on T205s!!!!! I'm not sure what took so long... this should have been a no brainer from the very beginning.... shame on PSA ... This should be an automatic.

Well...overall I think this is fairly accurate although I would add a point to the following...

Grant (very tough card and popular due to military service)
Wilhelm "suffe ed" (popular and tougher than people think)
Suggs (very tough)
Rowan (also very tough)

Everything else seems in line with my research...my two cents.

Joshua

When I think of a T205 collector, Joshua comes first to my mind. Grant, Wilhelm - suffe ed, and Suggs also correspond to suggestions I have from another long term collector/researcher that has contacted me about potential adjustments, so I will definitely be making the points move on those 3. I will be dropping down Baker, Bresnahan - mouth open, and Young by one point each to make things 400 point appropriate. Still some other suggestions from this other collector that I need to go over on the list...it is getting about as close to solidification as a jar of honey set outside in cold weather (actually not sure about my analogy. Got to look it up on Google).

I think it's appropriate that there are EGGSactly a dozen with a value over 4

Will a random lot of common T205's in various condition now be referred to as scrambled eggs...or maybe an omelette? And what if a lot has Ty in it...a Cobb salad?

And will a seriously beat up T205 be a rotten egg?

Maybe the top tier T205's can be called hard boiled?

That's the type of talk that could classify you as an EGGS Benedict Arnold.

Thanks Andrew. I did move Grant up from the 2 level to 3 based upon Joshua and that other advanced collector, so I think I will leave him at the 3 level.

Here is the final EGGS values for the set...thanks to all the input from everyone. I tried my best to synthesize all the info I received, and I am sure I slighted some while favoring others, including my own sensibilities. The final changes I made involved three cards (two up 1 point, Moran - stray line and Wallace - no cap, 1 line of stats, and one down 1 point, Fisher) that a collector provided after going thoroughly over the list. To maintain the 400 point total I had to drop one card by 1 point (Mathewson - Cycle incorrect stats). This collector also had six additional cards that he thought could be raised (Harmon - only one ear shows, Hoblitzell - name incorrect no Cin., Hoblitzell - name correct, no Cin., Karger, Kleinow, and Wagner. I just didn't feel I could subtract more points from others, and these were not noted by others that they should be raised, so they shall remain at their previous levels.

In a few days I will launch the new T205 EGGS thread, as has been done previously for the T206 (Monster) and E90-1 (Kraken) sets, and hope to see a bunch of folks participate in that thread as well. Thanks again, and below is the final EGGS list that will be included on that thread.

Default Eggs adder upper.

I finished my excel version of The EGGS calculator tonight, based on the final tally.
The chase to 400 Eggs can begin!

Email me for a copy. Mail to: My username at Comcast dot net.

It’s incredibly easy to use and you’ll be able to promptly count your EGGS even if they haven’t hatched.

I’m going to hold off posting my score until the new thread starts but it’s pretty cool to see!

Thanks Phil. Like Humpty, I've been known to straddle a few walls, but hopefully unlike Mr. Dumpty, I will not suffer a great fall.

To clarify, a great fall in esteem from folks (such as Phil and Brian and the rest of the Net54 community), due to a sour reception to the future thread.

That should be helpful. I just did the 208 "front" set. I am missing the 7 rarest back variations which is 62 points, so I guess I have 338 eggs in my basket.

Brian, thanks for doing this. T205 is such a great set, beautiful and more difficult than appears due to all of the short prints.
