Default 1948 Babe Ruth

Posted By: Jeff Robinson

Hello my name is Jeff and I'm new here, my dad found this auction on eBay for a 1948 Leaf Babe Ruth graded PCG 8. Here is a link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8745651965&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D8745651965%26fvi %3D1

I looked at the auction and I'm pretty sure that PCG is not a real grading company and everyone should run away from this auction.

What do all of you think? I hope this is not off topic as I know this is a Pre-WWII card board.

Thanks

Jeff

This is close enough for govt work as far as the year of the card and this board. I don't know the series that well so will defer to other more knowledgable folks on the board ....best regards

Cards are usually in these types of holders for one of two reasons, the card is no good, or it is badly overgraded. Once in a blue moon could you get a bargain? Sure, anything is possible.
