Default Princeton Baseball and Woodrow Wilson

Hi-

I recently acquired the four tickets scanned below from 1877 and 1878. They are from Princeton and two are for class championships and two say PUBBA (Princeton University Base Ball Association I assume). I found them in a fairly well known (and usually well picked) antique shop in NH. I also found a few pieces of ephemera related to the Leader Base Ball Club in Kingston NY from the early 1880s which I will post about in another thread soon. All of it was priced much cheaper than it could have been.

I read that Woodrow Wilson was the president of the baseball association but does anyone know which years? He graduated Princeton in 1879 and I was curious if he was president of the association just that year, or the previous year as well. I will probably send an email to Princeton but I figured I would check here too.

I am also curious if he played baseball at all. I am guessing he did not, at least at the college level, but it would be cool to find out he played a bit at Princeton.

Please also feel free to show other early Princeton items, especially related to the years on these tickets.

Thanks,
Alan
